Dr. Chang has changed my life. 20 years ago like many women getting big breast implants I did. It was the thing to do. Now as a 52 year old post menopausal woman, there was nothing I wanted more than to get them out, and to have smaller perky breasts. Dr. Cat Chang is amazing! I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give her. After years of contemplation, I went ahead and had the rhinoplasty (nose job) I have always wanted with Dr. Chang. I could not be more pleased with the results! Dr. Chang took a holistic approach to improving my profile... she saw that, in addition to straightening out my nose, I also needed a little more chin projection and some fat removed from underneath my chin to get to the result I wanted. She placed a small chin implant during my surgery, and she strategically removed some of my chin fat, too. I love my new profile, it is exactly what I hoped for! Dr. Chang is lovely, obviously very talented, and super approachable. I felt like I was in excellent hands during the entire process. Her office is beautiful, and the staff who work with her are wonderful. Her nurse Dee was especially terrific, checking up on me daily for weeks and reassuring my boyfriend (who was looking after me after surgery) when he was not sure what to do. Thank you ladies! Dr. Catherine Chang is a masterful plastic surgeon! I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the results of my recent surgery! I have "cred" as they say because I'm in the business of medical aesthetics--a Registered Nurse in this field since the early 2000's. I have been extremely fortunate to work with legendary plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills. My approach to appearances is to look natural. So after a long process, I finally decided to have my lower face and neck restored to a more youthful look. My loose wrinkled neck screamed "Old Lady." I asked Dr. Chang about the process, seeking reassurance. Dr. Chang was so patient and calm with me discussing her approach which, indeed, matched my aesthetics. Of course it did, that's why I wanted her to work on my face! So surgery happened and the results are FANTASTIC!!!! The experience was en pointe, the OR staff, the anesthesia, the nurses, the aftercare and the stellar Dr. Chang!! Not a surprise that I'm thrilled! "I have had three procedures completed by Dr. Chang and am over the moon with all of the results! She is the perfect balance of both professional and personable, and I felt completely confident and at ease after my very first consultation with her. On February 7th I had a breast augmentation, which took place after multiple consultations with Dr. Chang and many discussions as to the aesthetic I was trying to achieve. I am a petite framed individual and was mindful of not wanting my breasts to look obviously fake or 'done'. I gathered lots of photos to share with Dr. Chang as examples of breast augmentations that I liked, and breasts that I did not want my own to look like as a result of the surgery. She was totally welcoming of all the examples I could bring and roundabout descriptions of what I was looking to achieve. The surgery itself went incredibly well and all the staff, nurses and doctors at the surgery center were phenomenal! From the moment I arrived I felt completely taken care of and had all of my last minute questions and concerns addressed. My recovery was very much as I expected; there was a level of discomfort, but nothing that was too difficult to manage. The after-care provided by Dr. Chang and the whole Cassileth team was consistent and thorough, and I had daily check-ins from my nurse via the Clara app. Knowing that I could shoot through a message at any time and that I had a whole team available to support me was incredibly comforting. I am now past 3 months from having my breast augmentation, and absolutely adore my new boobs! To me, they are the perfect size per the aesthetic I was looking for, and I finally feel as if I have the breasts I was always supposed to have. Four weeks later, again after multiple consultations with Dr. Chang, I underwent another two procedures - under eye blepharoplasty and a chin implant. Both procedures took place in the one surgery. Of all three procedures, I was most nervous about the under eye blepharoplasty as I had to use prescription eye drops multiple times a day as part of the recovery, and I absolutely abhor eye drops. I was warned that my eyes would potentially feel itchy and irritated by the internal self-dissolving stitches, and that the eyedrops would provide relief. I used the eye drops as advised, but truly felt almost zero irritation. I bruise incredibly easily, so was expecting to have two completely black eyes, but this was not the case at all. Dr. Chang is incredibly delicate and particular with her work, and as a result I experienced very minimal bruising and swelling. Having both the blepharoplasty and chin implant done in the same surgery was fantastic and meant that I could recover from both simultaneously. The recovery from the chin implant surgery was smooth and not especially painful. I took the prescribed pain medication the day of the surgery (Friday) but did not feel the need to take anything for pain after that. There was some bruising, a little swelling and mild discomfort when eating, so I ate soft foods for about two days, and then basically returned to my regular diet after that. Following both sets of surgery, I have had multiple follow up appointments to check in and ensure that my recovery is on track, which it has been. I love these appointments as well as I get to go into the Cassileth office and it feels like you're visiting old friends! Dr. Chang is an incredibly gifted surgeon, but more than that, she has impeccable bedside manner, and the ability to make her patients feel heard, understood and completely at ease. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Chang without hesitation."

This review has been long overdue! I am now almost 4 months post op since my BA surgery. I am loving the result! My scar is healing well! The team of Cassileth Plastic Surgery is amazing! Dr. Catherine Chang is exceptional and brilliant. Simply phenomenal. She did my surgery with finesse. She made sure I was well informed and comfortable throughout. I got the best surgeon! Dr Chang is just BEYOND spectacular - as a wonderfully caring human AND tremendously talented surgeon. She performed for me an OTM DTI (over the pectoral muscle, direct to implant ) immediate double breast reconstruction, after bilateral mastectomy, operating closely with Breast oncology surgeon Dr Memsic, in their Sister adjacent Breast care facility. I'm thin and athletic. Retaining full use, strength and functionality of my pec muscles was /is of paramount importance to me. Most other Surgeons wished to stay 'old school' and severe my pecs to reconstruct beneath them. NOT Dr Chang et al at Cassileth. And neither did she insist on expanders first - as others did, when they simply weren't necessary. So. I got rid of unhappy and unhealthy breast cells, reconstruction AND retained my chosen lifestyle :). Aaaand. Drains were out day 6, post Mastectomy and recon. I was Driving day 7. In a 5 day ongoing advanced yoga teacher training days 8-12...... and 8 weeks out, am pretty much back to 'before'. That's not to say it was 'easy'.... but it really wasn't all that 'bad' either! After interviewing 5 surgeons (who, in my experience, I found tended to be quick to recommend ONLY that procedure THEY themselves were most comfortable/familiar with, and NOT THE procedure MOST suitable for the US, the individual cancer patient... aka HUMAN who lives through and with it thereafter ) and being left with my head spinning with conflicting information and procedural recommendations, I didn't know whether to cry with relief, or dance for joy, upon meeting both of these surgeons. So I'm pretty sure I did both, right there, in their offices. In addition to a trouble free surgery, the Pre and Post surgery care are truly OUT OF THIS WORLD! Daily contact from one's designated nurse. 24/7 email/text access to her too, for questions, sharing of photos of one's recovery etcetc. All overseen by Dr Chang. EVERY interaction I had, from the first call to reception, to Surgeon consults with Dr Chang, to her surgery, in-hospital visits, and every other support staff within their practice, truly is incomparable. Yes! INCOMPARABLE. Even in Beverly Hills, where there are likely as many Plastic surgeons as there are Starbucks :). It's simple. Don't hesitate. GO! Simply put, Dr. Chang is phenomenal on so many levels! It was such an easy decision to choose her to perform my breast implant replace and lift surgery. Apart from having a "rock star" academic resume, upon meeting her I was immediately impressed as she has a very caring demeanor, is personable, professional, compassionate, but most importantly, incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. She answered every question I had with such detail. I left the consultation with a clear certainty that she would be my surgeon. I only went to a second consultation with a very well known doctor because of their strict cancellation policy. After leaving that appointment, I was even more confident that I had made the right decision with Dr. Chang. It's been eight weeks since my surgery and I am absolutely ecstatic with the results, and I have so much more confidence in my appearance. I have known Dr. Cassileth since 2005. I was 37 years old and had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and was planning a double mastectomy. With 3 young daughters, it was a scary time. Dr. Chang is absolutely amazing. I am beyond happy and thankful that I chose to have my procedure with her! I had a labiaplasty. Initially I was very nervous because this procedure is sensitive and you can't find many before and after photos. Dr. Chang is so nice and understanding, she is sweet and kind, which made me very comfortable after our first meeting. I was so calm, I booked my procedure right after my consultation. Words can't describe how happy I am! My recovering was less than 3 days! Same day I was already on my feet! I only took pain medication for about a day. I recovered so fast, not a single issue. I was very fortunate to have been a patient of Dr. Chang. She is an amazing, caring and gentle Doctor. I had given thought many times to having my lips done and other treatments that I had read about, but was always too nervous to actually take the step. I'm so grateful I had my surgeries at Cassileth with Dr. Sunder and Dr. Chang, two exceptionally talented surgeons with lovely personalities and bedside manners. I originally came in for nose surgery with Dr. Sunder to correct my deviated septum and to make it a little cuter while she was at it. I knew her by acquaintance and reputation and felt confident in her abilities. I also had an umbilical hernia that I wanted to take care of at the same time, and Dr. Chang was recommended for the procedure. The scope of work on my abdomen ended up being complicated and Dr. Chang made sure that it was done properly and spent a lot of time with me both in surgery and aftercare. I'm extremely pleased with the care and results I received from both doctors. The facility is beautiful and the parking is convenient. (Downstairs for a fee, or across the street for 2 hours, free).

"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chang and the team at Cassileth Plastic Surgery! I scheduled an appointment because my under eyes have bothered me for my entire adult life, which hasn't been too long since I am only 32. My eyes have always been sunken like I had chronically been on a Las Vegas bender, no matter how much sleep I got. I knew I wanted to do something, but I didn't want to start getting facial fillers and have to keep up on getting touch ups and what not. And I definitely didn't want to have a Simon Cowell type issue and start looking like a different person, but I thought plastic surgery was for a grandma wanting a facelift, not a 32 year old guy who looks tired. After thoroughly searching the internet for the best cosmetic plastic surgeons in Los Angeles I decided upon Dr. Chang at Cassileth Plastic Surgery as she really impressed me with her training at Harvard and being Magna Cum Laude at Columbia. However, just because one has such an impressive resume, doesn't necessarily mean they are a great surgeon - so I scheduled a consult to meet her in person. I appreciated that I could park in the parking structure next to the Rite-Aid for 2 hours free, and if that structure is full there is a paid structure directly underneath her office. The office staff was very welcoming and made me feel at home, which was a relief because I never thought in a million years I would be sitting in the waiting room of a plastic surgery office of women in Beverly Hills. I was seen in a timely manner and Dr. Chang was GREAT (and not to mention easy on the eyes). I explained my concerns and she educated me that filler wouldn't be a good idea because my issue was that my cheek bone was too flat and I was just born that way. I appreciated her honesty and also that she wasn't trying to sell me a bunch of facial fillers over and over again. It was obvious that she knew what she was doing, so I asked her to explain everything about my bone structure and, Wow! is she thorough. She evaluated my face and explained why my expectations would be met by undergoing a custom jaw implant, chin implant, infraorbital rim implant (tear trough implant), and neck lipo. Her medical staff was awesome and took my photos in a professional photo suite. They took a 3D imaging photo to render my face and Dr. Chang showed me what the proposed changes might look like. I was sold. She ordered a 3D CT scan of my face and reviewed everything with me before surgery. She personally designed my implants using the CT scan, which is not only super cool, but in my case a necessity because the imaging showed that my jaw bone was really asymmetric - so the less expensive non-custom implant would have been crooked!! I am so thankful she took the time to explain to me why the fancy 3D CT scan was so important. My anesthesiologist called me the night before the surgery and made me feel at ease and super comfortable. The day of surgery was seamless and the operating room staff was impeccable, the nurse Jerry was so efficient. I even woke up from the 6 hour surgery without any nausea at all!!! Post-operatively the nurses Dee and Carollee were PHENOMENOL. I had direct secure text access to them and they answered my questions immediately. I even sent them a bunch of pictures of my progress so they knew exactly what was going on. Since the surgery I have completely healed and the results couldn't make me happier. The best part is that absolutely no one can tell that I had plastic surgery. Everyone just asks me if I've lost weight or just had a restful vacation. My confidence has improved and now I can walk into a conference room of execs knowing that I look very professional and not like I have been partying all night."

I'm so grateful I had my surgeries at Cassileth with Dr. Sunder and Dr. Chang, two exceptionally talented surgeons with lovely personalities and bedside manners. I originally came in for nose surgery with Dr. Sunder to correct my deviated septum and to make it a little cuter while she was at it. I knew her by acquaintance and reputation and felt confident in her abilities. I also had an umbilical hernia that I wanted to take care of at the same time, and Dr. Chang was recommended for the procedure. The scope of work on my abdomen ended up being complicated and Dr. Chang made sure that it was done properly and spent a lot of time with me both in surgery and aftercare. I'm extremely pleased with the care and results I received from both doctors. The facility is beautiful and the parking is convenient. (Downstairs for a fee, or across the street for 2 hours, free).

Dr Chang performed my surgery 7 months ago. She was very kind and professional. She answered all of my questions and was very patient in helping me to understand everything as well as truly listening and considering all of the points and concerns that I brought up. She and her staff were very supportive both before and after the surgery. They made sure to check in and follow up throughout the recovery process. It relieved so much of my nervousness and anxiety to know that they were always available to discuss even a minor concern. Getting an appointment was never overly challenging and the staff were very understanding if any scheduling changes needed to be made, even last minute. On top of all of this, the work that Dr. Chang performed was amazing. She has absolutely unbelievable skill in helping her patients to attain the results that they desire with a natural look that is nearly unfathomable. She is a true master at what she does and I whole heartedly and emphatically recommend her to everyone!
